My Sundays are kept free from work and I will only do electrical work if they are an emergency. I could loll about all day doing nothing but I like to be reasonably active. If the weather is fine I might go for a walk. It was such a day on Sunday so that is what I did, nothing fancy, no special walking boots or shoes, just my normal everyday wear. Getting out into the fresh air is always beneficial and I have never liked remaining indoors unless I am doing a job of work in the house. In the summer months I get out on my bike when I can. If the weather is really bad I can fall back to using the treadmill and sometimes go on it even if I have been fortunate to exercise outdoors. It is so easy and simple to use if it is only the exercise I want but I like being outdoors, you get to see things out there! I am not the sort of person who wants to spend hours on end doing the same thing (except at work) so spending the whole day walking, or running or visiting museums and art galleries is not my cup of tea unless I am on vacation where I do all sorts of things I don’t usually do whilst at home. I can’t sit and read for too long and in any case I don’t read fiction and even what I do find interesting to read I get bored with soon enough. I sometimes think Sundays are a waste of time as I get restless and feel I ought to be doing something constructive. I suppose I just don’t know how to relax but we all cannot be the same can we? E could sit on her bum for hours and often does but I am up and down all the time at the end of the day as I can’t stay seated too long. Sundays therefore, and any other days I have nothing to do, can be quite boring for me. I am strict with myself though and take the day of rest as I know I should.
